Life for sweet Hamilton is looking up!  A Good Samaritan rescued him after he was hit by a car, but didn’t have the funds to pay for treatment—rather than let him suffer they decided to take him in to be euthanized.  The veterinarian caring for him wasn’t convinced that this injuries were serious enough to prevent him from making a full recovery and helped to get him admitted into our adoption program instead.  And what a wonderful thing that was since radiographs showed that even though Hamilton had been banged up, he had no broken bones!  Cage rest, pain medication, and lots of TLC have Hamilton feeling better every day!  He’s desperate for affection, and wriggles with delight when you are near.  His true enjoyment is life is lots of baby talk, tummy rubs, and the knowledge that he is loved—all things that we’re thrilled to be providing for him, but we know he’d love it even more in a permanent situation with a family of his own!
