Dr. Jacob Worthington was born in New Hampshire, but now lives in Allen, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from UTD and his veterinary medicine degree from Texas A & M., with a special interest in internal medicine and preventive wellness medicine. Dr. Worthington is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society. He joined the East Lake team in October, 2006.

Dr. Worthington and his wife, Stacey, have two sons. Josh is 2 years old and Sam is 1 and a half years old. The Worthington family also includes Brady, a sweet 5 year old long haired Chihuahua and Jazzie and Mango, two very vocal cats.

Dr. Worthington’s hobbies include reading, computers and spending time with his children. A little known fact is that he grew up in a military family and has lived in Mass., Ky., New Hampshire and Germany and his first veterinary job was at an all cat clinic in New Hampshire.
