Jacob Worthington, DVM

Dr. Jacob Worthington was born in New Hampshire, but now lives in Allen, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from UTD and his veterinary medicine degree from Texas A & M., with a special interest in internal medicine and preventive wellness medicine. Dr. Worthington is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society. He joined the East Lake team in October, 2006.

Dr. Worthington and his wife, Stacey, have two sons.

Josh is 2 years old and Sam is 1 and a half years old. The Worthington family also includes Brady, a sweet 5 year old long haired Chihuahua and Jazzie and Mango, two very vocal cats.

Dr. Worthington’s hobbies include reading, computers and spending time with his children. A little known fact is that he grew up in a military family and has lived in Mass., Ky., New Hampshire and Germany and his first veterinary job was at an all cat clinic in New Hampshire.
