Renee
Tyran

ELPO Medical Administrator
Of
our many wonderful employees, Renee has been with us the longest having
joined our team in 1995. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from
Cedar Valley College in 1996
as a state and nationally certified Registered Veterinary Technician.
While attending Cedar Valley College, she was also employed there
|
 |
as
a veterinary assistant, where she earned
an award for the Student Assistant of the Year in 1995. Though she has
enjoyed many different roles at East Lake, her first love has been her
involvement with orphaned animals. Renee has been an integral part of
the East Lake Pet Orphanage since it's inception. She designed and implemented
many components of the adoption program that are still in place to this
day. Though she took a year off to be with her son Colton, who was born
on March 19th of 2000, she continued to make frequent visits to assist
with the program and was overjoyed to return as the orphanage's Adoption
Coordinator in 2001. Renee is the proud mom of two Boston Terriers,
Tansy and Maggie, along with a Dutch Shepherd named Oberon. She also
has five cats that include Bastet Tomson, Didley, Judy, Marnie, and
Trixie. Another beloved member of the family is her rat, Dorian.

In
her personal life, Renee knows all too well the importance of family.
She sadly lost her fiancé, Tony, after his three-year battle with
cancer. After his death, she was blessed by finding love again with her
husband, Tim. Tim is currently living in Florida where he works as avionics
crew chief for American Airlines and pilot for Continental Connection.
The separation is temporary, as Tim is only in Florida while he accumulates
flight time. The couple plans to reunite at the earliest possible opportunity.
(They hope to add two more children to the picture over the next few years!)
Tim visits Dallas as often as possible, where they both enjoy spending
time with their friends from the goth/industrial music scene (Tim is the
brains and talent behind the techno/industrial band "Bunkersoldier").
Renee's philosophy in life is simple. Live and love as if there is no
tomorrow. |
