Katie was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Dallas in Sept., 2006.  Katie is seen here holding her teacup Chihuahua, Lua.  Katie also has two sets of siblings, Maggie and Milo are brother and sister Dachshunds; while Blackie and Diana are brother and sister cats!
 
Her hobbies include singing, acting and reading.  She usually reads 2 novels a week. She is also a bono fide movie buff of all genres; but likes horror movies best. Her favorite food is anything her mother makes and anything Italian.

This is Katie’s first job in the veterinary field, but she has always wanted to work with animals.  She has fostered animals for the CT Humane Society and is a volunteer at New Beginning Cat Rescue at the PetSmart in Garland.  Katie has been a member of the East Lake team for over a year.
