Travis Procell, DVM

Dr. Travis Procell was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and joined the East Lake team in 2008.  He received his undergraduate degree and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University, where his particular medical interests drew him to the advanced study of Ophthalmology, Medical Oncology and Soft Tissue Surgery.  He is a member of the American Cancer Society, American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, American Veterinary Dental Society, AVMA, TVMA and DCVMA.

  

Dr. Procell's medical interests in Ophthalmology range from the treatment of KCS "Dry Eye", corneal ulcers and conjuunctivitis to eyelid malformation corrections.

In Medical Oncology, Dr. Procell uses the latest medications and protocols in the treatment of many common companion animal cancers to increase both the life expectancy and quality of life in his patients.

Dr. Procell and his wife, Leann, live in Dallas with their daughter, Jaidyn and their yellow Lab, Ainsley. Dr. Procell's hobbies include almost any outdoor sport, reading, working out, spending time with his family and cheering on the LSU Tigers.
