Brian Mountain, DVM

Dr. Mountain grew up in Southern California where he was introduced to veterinary medicine while rehabilitating wildlife, primarily birds of prey.  Currently, Dr. Mountain shares his home with a Blue Tick Coon Hound named "Tick" and a tabby cat named "Flea".  His pursuit of veterinary medicine has taken him to multiple universities, states, and the caribbean for nearly three years. He has also assisted in both veterinary and human medical research.  His medical interests are in surgery, specifically orthopedics (bone and joint surgery), and pain management.

Surgeries that are routinely performed are cranial cruciate repair ( Lateral Suture Stabilization), Medial Luxating Patella (MPL), and multiple fracture ( broken bone) repairs.  All orthopedic surgeries receive advanced pain management. Clients are welcome to call and make an appointment for a free orthopedic consult with Dr. Mountain. Radiographs ( X-rays) can also be reviewed if the owner brings them at the appointment
