Shelia has been a team member at East Lake since 2001. She was born and raised in Dallas. Sheila attended H. Grady Spruce High School. The Luna family consists of Shelia and her two daughters, along with their family pet members, Chili, a miniature Italian Greyhound mix, and Cayenne, a German Shepard.
 
Shelia’s hobbies include baking cakes and cookies, especially at the holidays. She is a certified cake decorator and is also certified for children’s education classes through the YWCA. She makes the best strawberry cake with cream cheese icing!

Sheila had a career in child care and substitute teaching before coming to East Lake.  Shelia is the “right and left arm” of East Lake and is responsible for multiple special projects. She is the tour guide “extraordinaire”, organizes group tours for the hospital, maintains our extensive library of pet-related books and videos, works closely with the hospital accountant, maintains the uniform inventory along with the myriad of other activities.
