Gerad
grew up in Richardson and he and his wife, Heather, along with Zoey,
a "chiweenie" Dachshund/Chihuahua; Bob, a cockatiel, Dude
and Dudette, both bearded dragons and 2 aquariums of fish, now live
in Allen. Gerad graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson
and attended Abilene Christian University. 
Gerad's
hobbies include anything to do with computers (we fondly refer to him
as "Bill Gates" or "The Wizard"), watching the Cowboys
and Rangers, Sudoku puzzles, and collecting Pez dispensers.
