Katie was born and raised in Big D. She attended Greenhill School and graduated from UTD.
 
We are fortunate to have Katie as East Lake Pet Orphanage's Adoption Administrator because it is evident in all she does how much she loves and cares for our orphans. Katie's family consists of her husband, Tim, as well as three cats - Zoe, Petey and Monet and two rabbits - Maggie and Ringo.
 
Her previous career was in publishing, but publishing’s loss is ELPO's gain. In her spare time, Katie is working on a children’s book.
