Michelle
Campoli RVT/CVPM
Michelle
comes to East Lake from Tampa, Florida, along with her husband, Doug,
who was transferred here with GTE as a financial analyst. She joined
us in September, 1999 as our new Practice Manager, bringing over 15
years of clinical and management experience. Always the animal lover,
rescuing birds, squirrels, and other animals since childhood, Michelle
started a pet sitting business in her neighborhood and worked for
a local pet shop. After high school, she worked for a vet clinic as
a kennel attendant, then kennel manager.

She
attended veterinary nursing school in St. Petersburg and became a Registered
Veterinary Technician (RVT). She has practiced in veterinary facilities
including emergency, small animal and exotic, mobile and specialty practices.
Michelle has served as president of the Florida Veterinary Technician
Association, instructor at St. Petersburg Junior College's and Cedar
Valley College's veterinary nursing programs. She is active in Greyhound
adoption. Michelle is one of fewer than 150 Certified Veterinary Practice
Managers (CVPM) in the U.S. and Canada, which requires several years
experience in hospital management, an intensive testing protocol and
continuing education. She is currently the president of the Metroplex

Veterinary
Hospital Manager's Association. As East Lake's practice manager, Michelle
oversees our personnel department, develops hospital and business standards,
establishes client programs, and anything else we can throw at her.
Michelle is the proud mom of Chi and Miranda, her beloved Greyhounds,
and Sir Lancelot, her rescued cat that rules her home. When not at East
Lake, she enjoys camping, biking, stained glass, and reading. If you
