Michelle Campoli RVT/CVPM

Michelle comes to East Lake from Tampa, Florida, along with her husband, Doug, who was transferred here with GTE as a financial analyst. She joined us in September, 1999 as our new Practice Manager, bringing over 15 years of clinical and management experience. Always the animal lover, rescuing birds, squirrels, and other animals since childhood, Michelle started a pet sitting business in her neighborhood and worked for a local pet shop. After high school, she worked for a vet clinic as a kennel attendant, then kennel manager.

She attended veterinary nursing school in St. Petersburg and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). She has practiced in veterinary facilities including emergency, small animal and exotic, mobile and specialty practices. Michelle has served as president of the Florida Veterinary Technician Association, instructor at St. Petersburg Junior College's and Cedar Valley College's veterinary nursing programs. She is active in Greyhound adoption. Michelle is one of fewer than 150 Certified Veterinary Practice Managers (CVPM) in the U.S. and Canada, which requires several years experience in hospital management, an intensive testing protocol and continuing education. She is currently the president of the Metroplex

Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association. As East Lake's practice manager, Michelle oversees our personnel department, develops hospital and business standards, establishes client programs, and anything else we can throw at her. Michelle is the proud mom of Chi and Miranda, her beloved Greyhounds, and Sir Lancelot, her rescued cat that rules her home. When not at East Lake, she enjoys camping, biking, stained glass, and reading. If you have any comments or suggestions regarding East Lake, Michelle would love to hear from you!
